A legacy of love; planning your funeral in advanced

Benjamin Franklin on the certainties of life said, “In this world nothing can be said to be certain – except death and taxes.” Mr. Franklin was sure on to something wasn’t he? Life can throw you a curve-ball and the reality is – things don’t always go as planned! The idea isn’t to fail to make plans. On the contrary, we warranty our appliances, insure our homes, our cars, and even ourselves all in the name of life’s uncertainties.

But what about the certainties Mr. Franklin spoke of? Thoughts of your own mortality can be about as much fun as paying your taxes, yet it remains one of life’s few certainties. In our pain averse culture, many fail to plan for the inevitable. It’s easier to avoid and leave the funeral planning up to our loved ones, as indeed many do.

What legacy would you like to stay behind? Affording our survivors the ability to grieve, to focus on the important things without the added stress of financial uncertainty can be one of the greatest acts of love we can do.

At American Heritage, our goal is to take the complexity out of the process. We make it affordable, and easy to take care of so your loved ones don’t have to.

I would encourage you to take the first step by accessing our free pre-planning guide at the here.
